Samantai, or Sam for short, is an average trainer who dreams to be a pokémon master, in order to surpass her big brother who seems to be better than her in almost anything. She is usually nice, can have a "playful" side, and is a born drinker. The more alcohol something has, the better!
She also sews for a hobby, just doesn't really has big dreams with that. It relaxes her.
Edit: forgot to mention she's afraid of too many things to sum up.
But her biggest frights would be:

Her pokémon:

-Amanda, the Gorebyss: Amanda is pretty sure that her beauty surpasses that of Milotics and Gardevoirs. A quite cocky pokémon she is. But apart from that, she likes to show off her moves, so she's easy to fight with.
She and Evangelina are BFF's.^^

Item: Shell bell
Ability: Swift Swim

-Machupa, the Luxray: Sam's fave pokémon. And also a heavy drinker. Word says that no one ever saw him sober. But he knows his limits, most of the time he's just tipsy. He's the kind of pokémon you know you'll have fun with, and acts like the popular brother of the team.

Item: a keg of random alcohol
Ability: Intimidate

-Dante, the Houndoom: A player. He falls on everything that's female, how unattractive something can even be. For him, any lady needs to know she's special. At least, until he leaves her with an egg. The only two females he doesn't hit on are the girls in the team. They are like sisters to him.
Fun fact: he might not listen anymore when he meets a girl he fancies.

Item: A rose
Ability: Early Bird

-Archiebald, the Noctowl: Sam's first pokémon. A wise-ass that likes topretend he knows more than the rest, which is usually the case. He can read human books and he loves to play chess. Sam doesn't like to play against him because he keeps on winning. He is the one everyone goes to when they have a problem.

Item: Wise Glasses
Ability: Keen Eye

-Montezuma, the Slaking: A bit of a bully. He likes to sleep on stuff so that people can't find their stuff anymore. But Sam still adores him, since he is the protector of the team against other bullies.

Item: Leftovers
Ability: Truant

-Evangelina, the Espeon: Always smiling. She is a gift from Sam's older brother. Evangelina is also Sam's sewing buddy, since she can help sewing with her psychic capacities.
